DH and phones

Let me tell you, my husband has the worst luck with phones I've ever seen. He's actually quite careful with them (I'll admit one time was my fault since I washed the sucker), but for some reason he goes through them faster than anybody else I know. Well, back in January he got the LG Incite which is a really cool phone. 28 days later, it stopped working. Luckily the store replaced it without any hassle since it was within the 30 days. Here we are 5 months later and that phone decided that it didn't want anything to do with the update that LG put out for the phone and it too stopped working. We have insurance on the phone (I refuse to not have it with DH... I never pay for it on my phones though since mine always last the 2 years) but luckily no worries on that end. AT&T is sending him a new phone immediately. Even better, they waived the rush fee when he asked them too, informing them that it is his only phone and I'm 9 months pregnant so its important that he have it as soon as possible. In all honesty, we would've paid the $12 to rush it since a week is too long to go with us sharing my phone, but we were thrilled when they came back and said no problem! I was just relieved since we didn't really have the money to get DH a new phone and that $12 could go elsewhere (ahem, the baby) right now when money is tight. Now we're just hoping the new phone decides to last.... but I'm definitely not getting rid of the insurance on his phone just to be safe!

Oh, and baby shower today! woo-hoo! I still have a lot to update about the week though.... especially my trip to the candy factory...
