First, I have to say that just because I'm home all week doesn't mean that I look forward to the weekends any less. I hate being home alone all day and get lonely, although i do get a ton of housework done which is good since I do believe I'm entering the nesting phase. I love having the weekend to spend with DH and I have promised him that besides the usual picking up after ourselves, I won't do laundry or other time consuming housework when he's at home so that we can have time to spend together. Of course it also leaves me things to do come monday so I can keep myself occupied.
So here we are monday... I have plenty to do, but you know what I really want to do? Go back to bed. It is cooler today than it has been and my house is quite comfortable with the air turned off but a bought of nausea has decided to hit. Of course, with that comes a rise in body temperature which is becoming quite uncomfortable. I know this is just another part of the joys of pregnancy but its making me miserable. Oh, and did I mention the little one is sitting a little lower than normal? Yeah, that makes it even more fun when I already feel sick and he's squirming away in uncomfortable places. I know he's going to be worth it, but man today is not my day.
Oh, and as for this past weekend... I spent most of Sat. watching my 14 month old niece who made me all the more anxious for little boy to get here. We took her with us to babys'r'us where my parents were meeting us to pick up the crib mattress (yea! The crib is officially ready!) and where I decided to use some valuable coupons I had to purchase some necessities (i.e. baby wash, lotion, white onesies, etc.) before the coupons expired and having her with us made the trip all the more fun. She loves saying hi to everyone she can see and she is such a happy baby! The only down side of having her was that we learned real fast how far we have to go on the baby proofing! However, the dogs did excellent with her... she loved the "pup-pies!" and they loved her. What a relief! Other than that, the weekend was pretty typical with just a few errands here and there. This weekend should be fun though as we will be celebrating our anniversary! Yea!
