Hawaii Trip - Paradise Cove Luau (Thursday Night)

Thursday night of our trip, we decided to make our way to see DH's very first Luau (and my 3rd.... been to one on every trip except the one to Kauai). We picked Paradise Cove since we had a 25% off coupon, they get good ratings, and the most important... they were right down the street from the hotel! Being so close was so nice... Anyways, Paradise Cove has a bunch of activities before the main show that guests can partake in. We took part in a few, including games and arts and crafts. I had been to this show before (which I remember as being a lot bigger but then again, that was nearly 15 years ago! And no, my memory isn't inaccurate since I verified with pictures that they did indeed split the grounds at some point to create a site for weddings) so I didn't have as big of an interest in seeing the pig and all that and either did DH so we skipped some parts to do other things. One note of interest, we ate fried chicken for dinner. Yup, we went to a Luau in Hawaii to eat fried chicken. Hmmm... We did try the pig but it was a bit too salty for our taste. The meal was still good, just through us for a loop to have fried chicken.

Beautiful sunset on the grounds....

My husband all Touristed out! We won the beads for trying some Hawaiian games, and then he got the temporary polynesian tattoo for fun. It turned out kinda cool looking though! Oh, and I made him make the headband with me! Such a good sport!

Not my favorite picture of me (dang my face is looking chubby but at least I like DH in this picture!) but I figured I should add a few of us so that you know we had fun and weren't just taking pictures the whole time!
